Bone Marrow House!! a.k.a Rumah Sumsum

At the first day we arrived in Bogor, the first thing that we did is searching restaurants!!

And there is a restaurant quite tempting for us, YES Rumah Sumsum

But where is it?? Even we can’t find it in the first day! But we don’t want to give up! We still looking for this restaurant in the second day.

And we call so many times to get the right direction to there, but still hard!! Our GPS also can’t work because of didn’t have signal.

And finally we can find it! The location actually pretty easy, it is the same way if you want to go to The Jungle. The exact location is on Lawa Gintung street no.21.

I don’t know how many people we asked already about the address..

In a pretty traffic jam on the Lawa Gintung’s way, finally we find the green house named Rumah SumSum!

Wohooo, I just can’t describe how happy we are when we arrived. Hopefully the food not disappointed us..

Going out from car and directly come into the restaurant. The restaurant just like open’s home restaurant.

The waiter welcoming us with nicely! And give us the menu..

Wow.. no wonder called Rumah Sumsum, almost all the food contains with Sumsum, and some Sumsum as a maincourse.

Take a look at the menu.. Wow.. looks nyummy!! And finally our final decision, we order Sumsum Soup, Pepes Sumsum and also Nasi Bakar Sumsum. We just can’t order too much item, coz our stomach still full... ;p

Sop Sumsum Sapi

Less than 10 minutes, our SumSum Soup is coming. Our eyes open bigger than before! Ahahaha.. What really big bone. Almost the same size with my hand! They served it with a small spoon and a big whole straw. The bone marrow inside the bone not much. So nice portion for us.

The Soup’s taste also does not make us disappointed. Really nice taste.

Nasi Bakar Sumsum

Our Nasi Bakar Sumsum also coming not longer, they wrapped it like Lontong. I cut the leaf and amazed.. wooow.. the rice is a bit red and have a small cut bone marrow inside. They served with grilled beef rack. The taste of the rice quite spicy, but nice.. like you eat fried rice, and the grilled beef rack is sweet, but this time I love the taste and soft texture.. yea even it’s sweet.

Pepes Sumsum

The last but not the least, our Pepes Sumsum. We cut the leaf and fine a lot of bone marrow but the colour is yellow. I’m sure the cook it with turmeric, and also I found some ginger, galangal, chilli, shallot, lemongrass. I try it and owh my God!! So Spicy!! And I want it more. All the herbs really strong!! And also made the bone marrow more fresh inside my mouth... woooooaw.. when I’m writing this article, my mouth just keep watering!!! Sluurphhhh...

Wohoooaw so exited eat in here! Our craving for Rumah Sumsum is paid with really nice!

Ow.. anyway.. Maybe you should try also Sumsum Kambing a.k.a Lamb Bone Marrow. Because, quite much guest come here for the Lamb Bone marrow.

Our stomach is full! And it’s time to move our ass off *said Felice* hahaha!

We pay and also buy something for our family at home. whew.. my friends taking away quite much food!! I’m just pretend to play blind, thinking what happen with my car latter! So smellllll..

Ahahaha.. I’m so happy.. yeah! Good food can as a mood booster for me! Hehehehe.

Alright... Let’s continue our Journey, even it is already dark outside. ;p

As long as they have a really nice food, they can sell it anywhere!
